Amnesty law takes effect Monday, excludes lese majeste offences

Nan flood recovery under way, aid payments prepared
NAN – Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul on Sunday ordered state agencies to speed up flood recovery, compensation payments and infrastructure repairs in Nan and other flood-affected provinces, while maintaining heightened monitoring for further flooding and landslides during the remainder of the rainy season.

How many more of these “rackets” have to be uncovered before such transgressions are seen as the single issue that they are — a deeply ingrained disregard for the security and sanctity of the nation.
